General Valuation
This provides the surveyor’s professional opinion on the ‘market value’ of the property. Although please note that this is NOT a survey report and does not report on the condition of the property.

When to use a General Valuation
The Service is a valuation only and does not include a survey. It comprises of a limited inspection of the property carried out by a Valuer who then produces a report on the market value of the property, which is subject to a number of assumptions. A General Valuation is only suitable where you do not require any condition advice on the property, perhaps such as when you already own the property. We will need to understand the purpose of the valuation to ensure it is a service we can provide.
If you require information on the condition of the property, a survey is required and reports such as the Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Home Survey Reports are available.
